Summary: Training Start -> Training End ( Long 3 and a half months ๐โโ๏ธ ).
So, really, the experience was all over the place with excitement, tight deadlines, and fun activities. It was a mixture of many things that I truly enjoyed.
The courses and assignments based on those courses were really well-crafted. They put in a lot of effort to ensure that every course and assignment came together as a cohesive unit in the end. It was such a good feeling to see zero PRs open in the repo. All closed PRs felt like a story, as I could just look through them and see what I was thinking at that time and how I improved with each PR.
The POD setup was fantastic! I gained so many insights from the POD leader, including feedback on how everything should be done, what improvements we could make, and what we did well. POD syncs and Fun Fridays really helped us all connect more by joking, laughing, and enjoying our time together.
Aryan is the best POD leader I could have ever hoped for. Thank you for your great feedbacks because of you, my code will always be a pleasure to look at.
Toastmasters was also a highlight that I always looked forward to. We could give a talk on any topic, and others would provide feedback on what we could improve and what worked well in terms of public speaking. I never really prepared for it; I just chose a topic I liked and still managed to perform well. I was genuinely surprised by my ability to speak in public, especially since I’m somewhat introverted.
The L&D team was a huge help, especially when I had personal issues. They were flexible with their tight timelines, and Iโm truly grateful for that. We did get a lot of dat, but I think it was for our own good so that we wouldnโt make those silly mistakes.
Finally, I’m really thrilled that I was able to clear the training and can now work on real-world projects. I’m excited about my journey at rtCamp ๐.
