Summary: Understanding workflow of our training, catching up with my rtBuddy, understanding the engineering basics course and the assignment for that course, glancing through the engineering basics course, catching up with our learning and development team.
First we had a training orientation in which we got to know all the things that we are going to be learning in this training. We got to know all the ways that we are going to be evaluated like quiz, Q&A and assignments. We also got introduced to our trainers who are going to solve and guide us throughout this training period. The learning and development team told us about the do’s and don’ts we have to follow during the training period.
In the engineering basics course introduction we got to know about our first course, they guided us through all of the modules in that course. Some of the modules in that course are web basics, programming languages, version control systems and more, which will greatly improve our engineering basics knowledge. Also the Github timeline assignment was introduced, all the details were explained to us very deeply and also advised us to following coding standards and clean code.
Caught up with my rtBuddy she solved my queries and help me understand the company culture.
At last we had a catching up meet with the learning and development team, they solved our queries about the learning process and also introduced us to the time entry software.
